Our Enrollment Process

The enrollment process aims to provide families with a deeper understanding of our program and environment while learning about each child's unique needs and potential.

  1. Submit Your Application:
    Please contact via email at cathy@islandviewpreschool.com or call at 805.452.5169 for an application. Our current families have priority for choice of schedule when they renew their enrollment contract in June of each year. The school year starts in August.

  2. Application Review:
    After submitting your application, our admissions team will review it and reach out to let you know if there is space and if the schedule requested is available. The families applying for the infant room will be invited to meet upon acceptance into the program. This meeting allows us to better understand your child’s needs and answer any questions you may have.

  3. Enrollment Offer:

    Upon acceptance, you will receive an enrollment packet with additional forms and information.

  4. Secure Your Spot:
    To secure your child’s place, submit a signed enrollment agreement and a non-refundable deposit.

Tuition and Fees

2025/2026 Tuition Fee Schedule

Island View Preschool is a year-round school. Tuition is an annual fee that includes the summer session and is divided into 12 monthly payments. Each family is required to sign a tuition agreement alongside the enrollment contract. Monthly payments are due regardless of holidays, school closures, or student absences. Please note that tuition rates are subject to annual adjustments to reflect changes in operating costs, including rent and salaries.

Application Fee: $150 non-refundable

Materials Fee: $350
Art, educational, outdoor play, and garden supplies

Preschool Program (2-5 yrs old)
Families have the option for a Full Day (8:00-4:00pm) or a Half Day (8:30-12:30 pm)

  • 5 Days - $1900 monthly Full Day, $1000 monthly Half Day

  • 4 Days - $1725 monthly Full Day, $900 monthly Half Day

  • 3 Days - $1450 monthly Full Day, $775 monthly Half Day

Infant Program ( 2 months -2 yrs old)
Families have the option for a Full Day (8:00-4:00pm) or a Half Day (8:30-12:30 pm)

  • 5 Days - $2125 monthly Full Day, $1150 monthly Half Day

  • 4 Days - $1900 monthly Full Day, $1050 monthly Half Day

  • 3 Days - $1600 monthly Full Day, $900 monthly Half Day

There will be an early morning drop off option at 7:30 am and extended care offered from 4:30-5:30 for preschool age children only. Space is limited.
